Meet Brendan Hyatt

Brendan Hyatt is a dedicated leader with over 20 years of experience, a deep understanding of community needs, and values firmly rooted in family and faith. Currently serving the Thunder Bay—Rainy River riding in various capacities, he believes that, he can drive meaningful, positive change.
 

His proven track record includes overseeing teams of more than 300 employees and managing multimillion-dollar budgets experience that demonstrates his ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver results. Deeply connected to education and healthcare, and cherishing every moment with his granddaughter, Brendan’s commitment to his community stems from a profound desire to give back to the region that has shaped his life.
 

Throughout his career, Brendan has held significant leadership roles, including serving as Deputy Reeve of the Township of LaVallee and Director of Education for The Northwest Catholic District School Board. These positions have equipped him to navigate both unionized and non-unionized environments, sharpening the advocacy, budget management, and strategic planning skills necessary to serve effectively in public office.
